A record month for new roles at Glu

It’s been a standout month for the team at Glu, with a record 45 new roles brought on across both temporary and permanent recruitment.

Alongside this, we’ve welcomed 6 brand new clients and reactivated 4 lapsed clients – a brilliant reflection of the relationships we’re building and rebuilding across the region.

The variety of roles we’ve taken on this month has been huge. From HGV Drivers and Drainage Assistants through to Theatre Operations Managers and Carers, it’s a great snapshot of the diverse hiring needs across the market right now.

It also aligns with what we’re seeing more broadly across South Yorkshire. In March alone, there were over 40,000 live vacancies. Despite wider challenges, businesses are continuing to invest, hire, and push forward, which is incredibly positive for the region.

While the majority of our roles sit within South Yorkshire, we’ve also seen a strong increase in opportunities across West Yorkshire this month. Our reach continues to grow, and we recruit right across the UK – covering temporary, permanent and contract roles across office support, accountancy & finance, sales, creative & digital, IT, industrial… the weird and the wonderful.
