Role: Forklift engineer (Site work)

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 Per Annum DOE

Location: Stowmarket, Thorne, Wakefield

Hours: 08:00 – 17:00

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday

The role:

• Servicing, maintaining and overhauling forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Diagnosing electrical, electronic and mechanical faults
• Preparing equipment for sale, hire and return to service
• Carrying out inspections and compliance checks
• Completing service reports and workshop documentation
• Maintaining high health & safety standards

The successful candidate:

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Truck Repair, Plant Maintenance or equivalent
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering experience
• Experience working on forklift trucks or material handling equipment
• Excellent fault-finding skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
