Glu Recruit are participating in this year’s Master Cutler’s Challenge in support of The Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust.
Wentworth Woodhouse is one of the core pillars in South Yorkshire providing community and educational programmes and delivering training in dedicated skills such as entrepreneurship, conservation, heritage, digital and hospitality.
It is not only about the building but supports a wide range of people and communities in low-income households, including ethnic and minority interests and disability groups to help enrich their lives with cultural activities.
Glu Recruit have already pledged to donate 1% of all permanent recruitment fees to Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust and have now announced their next fundraising activity.
In line with The Coronation of King Charles III, the team will be hopping on exercise bikes and covering the distance of Wentworth Woodhouse to Buckingham Palace in their office.
This is a huge 170-mile trip which will be covered by the whole team across five days – commencing on the 15th May and ending on 19th May.
Rob Shaw, Managing Director of Glu Recruit, said, “Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust is an incredible charity that do so much for the local community, and we’re thrilled to be supporting them this year.
“We like to do things a bit different at Glu and wanted to tie the King’s Coronation into our fundraising.
“I’m excited for the whole team to get involved and encourage each other along the way – whilst raising money for a great cause.”
