Role: 1st Line IT Support Technician (12 month fixed-term contract)
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Our client is a leading industry specialist.
Be first point of contact for faults and issues.
Keep up to date the business support ticketing system and update users who have logged issues with the progress of fixing them.
Installing hardware and software.
Liaise with external companies for quotes on purchasing new equipment.
Provide users with support on day to day business systems including, but not limited to the below:
Client Relationship Management
Setting up printings and general maintenance, including liaising with 3rd party supplier.
Supporting Skype for business phone system.
Installation and general maintenance of computers, laptops, mobile and any business hardware.
Moving computer equipment as necessary across the business.
Installing and updating any business required software.
Administration of Active Directory, including user accounts, mailboxes and permissions
Troubleshooting Printers, PC hardware, Software
Assisting 2nd line support with any networking issues
The successful candidate:
Ideally, a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience of the following:
Supporting Windows 10
Technical skills for hardware repairs / upgrades
Work well under pressure
Driven by company values and integrity
Trouble Shooting and Problem Solving
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Be flexible and open to change
Willingness to learn new skills
