An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BI Analyst to join a growing organisation and play a key role in transforming data into meaningful business insight. Working closely with both technical and commercial teams, you will develop reporting solutions, dashboards and analytical tools that support data-driven decision making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions, dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI and related technologies.
  • Create, optimise and manage data queries across multiple business systems and platforms.
  • Design and develop company-wide reporting tools to improve visibility of key business metrics.
  • Review and enhance existing reporting processes to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality through validation, reconciliation and investigation of discrepancies.
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the evolution of BI and data strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing within the wider team.
  • Assist with the testing and implementation of new systems and technologies where required.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, alongside experience in business intelligence, reporting and data visualisation.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of MS SQL and SSRS.
  • Proven experience using Power BI and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how business intelligence supports organisational performance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Methodical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience with ETL tools and concepts within Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric environments.
  • Experience working with SAP reporting tools and related technologies.
  • Experience supporting data governance, validation and security frameworks.
