Role: Business Development Executive

Salary/Package: £15,000 basic salary per annum plus uncapped OTE. Realistic OTE of £30,000-£40,000 per annum. Company car, Fuel Card, Laptop and Mobile phone provided. Flexible/Home working is available.

Location: Chesterfield

Our client are an electrical contractor.

The role:

  • Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities.
  • Cold calling potential customers and building relationships.
  • Establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly. Pitching products and services.
  • Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s.
  • Arranging meetings with clients and identifying customer needs
  • Following up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.
  • Working closely with other teams to develop new business.
  • Researching the market and identifying potential target customers.
  • Attending industry events in order to generate business leads.
  • You will manage your own diary, there isn’t a requirement to be office based.

The successful candidate:

  • Previous new business sales experience (business to business)
  • A natural ability to identify sales opportunities and convert those into spending customers both face to face, over the telephone and on email.
  • Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Target driven, tenacious and an excellent relationship builder
  • Experience of sales within the electrical industry is desirable, but not essential
