Role: Business Development Executive
Salary/Package: £15,000 basic salary per annum plus uncapped OTE. Realistic OTE of £30,000-£40,000 per annum. Company car, Fuel Card, Laptop and Mobile phone provided. Flexible/Home working is available.
Our client are an electrical contractor.
- Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities.
- Cold calling potential customers and building relationships.
- Establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly. Pitching products and services.
- Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s.
- Arranging meetings with clients and identifying customer needs
- Following up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.
- Working closely with other teams to develop new business.
- Researching the market and identifying potential target customers.
- Attending industry events in order to generate business leads.
- You will manage your own diary, there isn’t a requirement to be office based.
The successful candidate:
- Previous new business sales experience (business to business)
- A natural ability to identify sales opportunities and convert those into spending customers both face to face, over the telephone and on email.
- Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
- Target driven, tenacious and an excellent relationship builder
- Experience of sales within the electrical industry is desirable, but not essential
