Role: Business Development Executive

Salary: £25k-£35k per annum depending on experience level

Location: Barnsley

We have a great opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the very successful Business development team. This will be a mixture of field based/remote and office working and you will be responsible for building and converting your own pipeline, by establishing who the key influencers and decision makers.

The role:

  • Establish and identify the key contacts across potential clients using a range of techniques including, online research, outbound calling, LinkedIn and where required face to face meetings
  • Segment, qualify and prioritise leads, creating and maintaining an efficient contact strategy
  • Develop relationships and network to increase number of potential clients/leads, by problem solving, offering supporting and asking for business
  • Provide regular pipeline/conversion updates to the head of Business Development
  • Support the business development team with attending events or webinars to prospecting clients

The successful candidate:

  • 2+ years Outbound B2B phone experience
  • Experience within a results-driven sales environment working to KPIs and objectives
  • Adept with common office software including CRM systems and databases
  • Tailoring B2B communications including emails, LinkedIn updates & Messages, sales collateral
  • Constructing a narrative / articulating an argument from complex data or information
  • A confident and personable character with the ability to influence and problem solve
  • Be a quick thinker with a keen eye for detail
