Hours: 09:00 – 17:15

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, Office Based

We’re working with a growing and highly regarded firm who are looking to welcome a motivated and detail-driven Paralegal into their busy Clinical Negligence team. Working closely alongside an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal who is keen to gain hands-on exposure to complex, high-value claimant work and continue developing their expertise in this specialist area.

The Role:

You’ll play a key role in supporting the Clinical Negligence Solicitor with the day-to-day management of a varied caseload, from initial instruction right through to settlement or trial. This role offers genuine exposure to claimant clinical negligence matters and the chance to build strong specialist knowledge within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of witness statements
• Reviewing medical records and producing detailed medical chronologies
• Supporting the preparation of schedules of loss
• Reviewing and analysing medical experts’ reports
• Assisting with the initial triage and assessment of potential claims
• Preparing case summaries and supporting documentation for legal expenses insurance applications

About You

• A minimum of one year’s experience working within clinical negligence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach aligned to core values
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Able to manage a varied caseload, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines
