Salary: £24.00 Per Hour

Located: Doncaster – Travel to Sites Required

Hours: Full Time

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing renewable energy business. We’re keen to speak with electricians who have a background in commercial or utilities environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality work while maintaining exceptional health and safety standards.

The role:

As part of the installation team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects across a variety of residential sites. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and maintaining Solar PV systems, including panels, inverters and battery storage systems, in line with technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Installing cable tray, trunking, SWA and CAT5e cabling to required specifications.
  • Ensuring all electrical work is completed in accordance with current UK electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
  • Carrying out testing and inspection activities to ensure installations meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults during installation and commissioning.
  • Promoting and maintaining excellent health and safety practices on site at all times.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in renewable energy technologies and relevant legislation.

The successful candidate:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations qualification.
  • ECS Gold Card.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • 2393 qualification
  • Knowledge of LV AC and DC electrical systems.
  • Previous Solar PV installation experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety.
  • The physical ability to work at height when required.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
