Role: Part Time Fundraising Manager

Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 FTE Per Annum (£15,200 – £16,800 Pro Rata)

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 15 hours per week (2 days)

The role:

Our client is recruiting for a Part Time Fundraising Manager to support the continued growth of a leading theatre company and Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. Working closely with the Artistic Director & CEO, you will develop and deliver the fundraising strategy, securing income through trusts, foundations, Arts Council England, corporate partnerships and individual donors to support artistic programmes, community engagement and long-term organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the organisation’s fundraising strategy.
  • Identify and secure funding from trusts, foundations and statutory bodies.
  • Write compelling funding applications, bids and cases for support.
  • Build and maintain relationships with funders, donors, corporate partners and stakeholders.
  • Develop sponsorship, philanthropy and individual giving opportunities.
  • Monitor fundraising performance and produce reports for funders.
  • Maintain accurate fundraising records and CRM systems.
  • Represent the organisation at networking events and industry meetings.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to support strategic growth.

The successful candidate:

  • Proven fundraising experience within the arts, charity or not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong track record of securing funding from trusts, foundations and public funders.
  • Excellent bid writing and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple funding applications and deadlines.
  • Excellent project management, reporting and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about the arts and committed to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Desirable:

  • Experience within an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation.
  • Knowledge of Arts Council England funding programmes.
  • Experience securing corporate sponsorship and philanthropic funding.
  • Experience using fundraising CRM systems and donor databases.
  • Knowledge of Gift Aid and fundraising compliance.
