Role: Head of Marketing & Commercial Strategy

Salary: Market Dependent

We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing & Commercial Strategy to lead the Marketing Department and oversee the company’s commercial strategy. This senior leadership role forms part of the Senior Management Team, contributing to wider business strategy and supporting growth objectives. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing marketing, sales, and customer service to drive commercial success and enhance market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive demand generation and new business growth
  • Develop and implement a coordinated commercial strategy aligning marketing, sales, and customer service
  • Strengthen and promote the brand internationally through marketing initiatives
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, communications, and digital activity including website strategy, SEO, AI search visibility (GEO/AEO), content marketing, and online lead generation
  • Understand paid search, paid social, SEO, Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), and content marketing
  • Support subscription renewals through engagement programmes and value reinforcement
  • Ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all commercial touchpoints
  • Collaborate with senior managers to identify commercial opportunities and support business growth
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs
  • Encourage cross-team collaboration and a strong culture of teamwork
  • Leadership and people management responsibilities

The Successful Candidate:

  • Significant experience in marketing or commercial leadership roles
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Experience delivering demand generation, brand development, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Understanding of modern digital marketing including paid search, paid social, SEO, content marketing, and emerging AI-driven search visibility (GEO/AEO)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
