An established provider of environmental and drainage services is seeking a HGV Class 2 Jet Vac Driver / Operator to join their team. Operating nationwide, the organisation delivers high-quality drainage and waste management solutions. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of specialist equipment to maintain and repair drainage systems, working across a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 Jet Vac and vacuum tankers to clean and maintain drainage systems
• Travel to residential, commercial, and industrial sites as part of a team
• Use high-pressure water jetting equipment to remove blockages and restore flow
• Accurately record job details using company systems
• Carry out basic diagnostics, inspections, and minor repairs
• Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively on-site
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain equipment readiness
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including PPE and safe systems of work
• Assess risks on-site and adapt working practices accordingly
• Support colleagues and assist with training where required
• Report defects, hazards, or equipment issues promptly

The Successful Candidate:

• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• HGV Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Tachograph card
• CSCS card (or willingness to obtain)
• WJA (Water Jetting Association) training
• Interest in drainage, waste management, or utilities sectors
• Practical, hands-on approach with ability to work outdoors
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn
