An established provider of environmental and drainage services is seeking an HGV Class 2 Rigid Tanker Driver to join their team. Operating nationwide, the organisation delivers reliable and compliant solutions across liquid waste and drainage services. This role involves the safe transportation, collection, and disposal of liquid waste while maintaining high standards of safety and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate specialist tanker vehicles including jetting, suction, and vacuum tankers
• Respond to emergency callouts such as blockages, flooding, and pollution incidents
• Carry out collection and safe disposal of liquid and controlled waste
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
• Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle checks
• Accurately complete job records and documentation
• Ensure PPE is maintained and used correctly
• Provide support to other teams when required and adapt to operational needs

The Successful Candidate:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
• Valid Tachograph card
• Driver CPC qualification
• Experience operating tanker vehicles (advantageous but not essential)
• Willingness to undertake training and develop new skills
• Knowledge or training in high-pressure jetting, first aid, or manual handling (desirable)
• Flexible and team-oriented approach
