Role: Internal Account Manager
Salary: £22,500 – £25,000 + uncapped commission
Located: Barnsley
Hours:- Monday to Friday (8.30am till 5pm)
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at the home of an established fast-growing discount wholesaler. You’ll be working as part of the sales team reporting to the Sales Director. You will be supporting the sales team achieve sales targets and KPIs set by the business. You will be a key part of the team supporting customers and account managers day to day. You’ll also work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure customers receive an optimum level of customer service.

The role:
- Servicing customer questions regarding orders
- Ensuring accuracy of customer orders
- Supporting operations team in delivering products to customers
- Generate customer quotes for sales enquiries
- Assist market research and data trend analysis
- Assist the Sales director in reporting monthly KPIs
- Support Marketing activity
- Supporting customer visit in the showroom
- Liaising with Quality team to ensure all documentation required by the customer is made available.
- Liaise with E-commerce and design team for product Image requests and liaison with customers
- Arranging meetings
- Events / Shows – supporting sales team with arrangements
- Sample requests for customers
The successful candidate:
- Education – A-Level or equivalent
- Experience of sales or sales support roles is desirable
- Excellent working proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Good working knowledge of other common Office software such as Word and Outlook
- Organised and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Have a can-do attitude with an understanding of the importance of excellent customer service
- Experience within a wholesale function would be desirable
- Gain an understanding of products sold to answer customer queries effectively
- Excellent telephone manner and the ability to form positive relationships, both internally and externally
