Salary: £29,406 – £32,448 Per Annum DOE

The role:

Our client is recruiting for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator/Welder to join their growing manufacturing team. Working within a modern workshop, you will weld, fabricate and assemble aluminium and steel components, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while supporting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out aluminium and steel MIG welding.
• Fabricate and assemble components to specification.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
• Work collaboratively to achieve production deadlines.

The successful candidate:

Essential

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder/Fabricator.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ aluminium fabrication experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience using fabrication machinery, including band saws, grinders and pillar drills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Desirable

• Experience within the signage or manufacturing industry.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of a range of fabrication techniques.
