Role: PPC Account Manager

Location: Sheffield (flexible working offered)

Salary: £25-30K DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday 8 hours

Company: Our client are a website and marketing agency. They partner with local businesses, start ups & SME’s across UK & the rest of Europe to help accelerate their growth & improve their marketing performance.

Over the past year the business has experienced rapid growth and, as such, this fantastic opportunity to join us at an exciting phase in our development has arisen.

The type of person we’re looking for:

A role has opened up in our marketing team for an enthusiastic and self-motivated PPC executive who can work with our marketing team to plan and implement strategy and set up a process of continuous improvement across paid and organic search.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking an initial and thorough PPC audit with an ongoing requirement to update stakeholders at all levels on a regular basis.
  • Conducting competitor research into paid advertising and keywords
  • Create and deliver an aligned strategy for PPC, with a commitment to regularly reviewing the performance
  • Monthly business wide reporting on current positioning and planned improvements to address key business objectives
  • Balancing training and development time with workload, to keep up to date with industry changes while keeping on top of campaigns
  • Working alongside the marketing team and development team to influence the client experience and on-page performance
  • Evaluating our clients user experience and reporting findings

Experience and essential skills:

  • A degree in a related field and a minimum of two years experience
  • A minimum of five years experience in a similar role
  • A strong knowledge of essential tools, including but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google MCC, SEMRush & MS Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating effective PPC campaigns
  • An up-to-date understanding of managing and resolving issues impacting on PPC as well as developing an ongoing PPC strategy
  • Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all business levels


Would be beneficial:

  • Experience in an ecommerce environment
  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices
  • Understanding of UX and/or CRO
  • Mailchimp or similar
