Role: Recruitment Co-ordinator

About the Company:

We are a successful local, independent recruitment agency based in Sheffield and are looking for a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our expanding team.

What’s on Offer:

  • Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am – 4pm on Friday
  • Salary: £19,000-£22,000 + 22 Days Annual Leave + your birthday off + Christmas shutdown + incentives

  • Candidate resourcing on live vacancies and proactively hunting out marketable/placeable candidates
  • Client liaison – taking vacancies both face to face and over the telephone. Updating the client at each stage of the process ensuring they are kept informed
  • Client liaison – putting candidates forward for positions and informing them of candidates of interest even when they aren’t recruiting
  • Client liaison – arranging interviews, handling feedback, handling offers and negotiation
  • Candidate/Client liaison – pre-and post start care
  • Candidate Registrations – Both for live vacancies and to support candidates in their job search
  • Marketing – including mailshots, email campaigns, social media postings, flyering
  • All aspects of candidate and client administration – including data entry on to the in house system, candidate registration documents and identity checking, organising registration appointments in the diary, confirming meetings, confirming interviews, putting together job specifications and preparing CV’s
  • Advertising vacancies on the in-house system and on line
  • Research and lead generation – sourcing candidates that match and speculatively submitting their details
  • Administrative tasks associated – ID checking, DBS, IR35, registration/temp forms and keeping the temp register up to date.
  • Attendance and participation in daily update meetings
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The successful candidate:

The right candidate must have excellent communication skills – verbally and written, be a team player, computer literate, enthusiastic and able to work on their own initiative. You’ll have excellent relationship building skills and adapt yourself to the person you’re dealing with be it candidate or client to give them an outstanding recruitment experience. You’ll be a good judge of character and able to speak confidently with candidates about their career history to date and what the next step looks like. We’re looking for a grafter with some banter to join a lovely, hard working and successful team
