Role: Recruitment Consultant (Temporary Division)

We are a modern and forward thinking independent recruitment agency based in Rotherham who help employers and candidates across the Sheffield city region find their perfect match in each of our specialist areas – office support, sales, creative/digital, IT and warehouse/driving.
We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to build our temporary division, to grow and develop our existing clients and attract new ones.

*Use a variety of business development techniques to develop a database of new clients that use our temporary recruitment service
*Build an understanding of your clients, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment and what they look for in a recruitment partner
*Offer and advise the client on our suite of recruitment solutions, honestly, consultatively, and collaboratively selecting the best method for them. Negotiating and agreeing terms.
*Take detailed job requirements from clients face to face, on video call and over the telephone
*Advertise vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media to attract appropriate candidates
*To proactively search, identify and interview suitable candidates for temporary bookings through resourcing and interviews.
*To ensure that all candidates have the necessary checks before sending them out on assignment including reference checking, identification checking, rights to work, criminal records and anything else which may need to be taken in to consideration.
*Develop an ongoing pipeline of available temporary candidates for future temporary bookings
*To proactively market your candidates to existing and new clients
*Routinely account manage your clients to ensure that the temporary worker provided is performing and identify any new opportunities.
*Keep in touch with your temporary staff on assignment and your active pipeline of candidates
*Ensure that agency workers regulations are adhered to and communicated to both the client and the candidate throughout the assignment
*Provide advice to both client and candidates on the current recruitment marketplace
*Structure your working day and week to include account management, business development, marketing, and candidate activity to ensure that your KPI’s are achieved/exceeded
*Administrative duties such as timesheet management, holiday requests, payroll queries and other ad hoc duties
The successful candidate:
We are looking for someone with experience of working in the recruitment industry, specifically in the temporary market. You will have experience of building a temps desk from scratch, or growing a temps desk within a recruitment agency. We are also open to considering candidates with experience of recruiting in the permanent market.
You will have a real passion for delivering the best candidate and client experience through unrivalled quality of service. You will be natural and confident in forming relationships internally and with our candidates and clients, creating long term partnerships.
You will be quality driven with efficiency and results at the forefront of your mind. You will be confident on the telephone and face to face and keen to impress and further develop our recruitment offering across the Sheffield City Region.
We are looking for a self-starter with a motivation for success. You will be confident in business to business sales through a variety of techniques and be comfortable working to KPI’s. You will have experience of producing results and achieving/exceeding targets.
You will be a car driver with a full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
