Role: Sales & Estimating Administrator

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Per Annum

Location: Barnsley

Hours: 41.5 per week, Monday to Friday

The Role:

To be responsible for researching of potential customers, sourcing enquires and estimating. Supporting the sales manager to secure projects that have a sales revenue to the company’s strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To follow strategies and techniques set to achieve the sales targets set by Sales Manager.
  • To maintain the company internal sales and quotation register.
  • To follow leads and research opportunities for the company.
  • To promote the brand through marketing activities, and customer visits.
  • To cost and quote steel projects, and aluminium enquiries with training provided by the sales manager.
  • To follow up and secure existing concrete quotes and communicate with the team the findings.
  • Ensure effective communication with Sales Manager to ensure customer’s and company requirements are met daily.
  • To work to the company’s core values

The successful candidate:

Ideal candidates will be:

  • Skilled in leveraging social media platforms for lead research, identification, and prospecting.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and experience with databases and IT systems.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with clients and the team.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet planned outcomes and deadlines, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet conflicting demands.
