Role: Senior Residential Conveyancing Paralegal

Salary: £26,500 – £30,000 Per Annum

Location: Sheffield

Hours: 09:00 – 17:00

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to support Fee Earners with a varied caseload of residential property transactions. This role offers greater autonomy, with responsibility for managing more complex matters whilst delivering exceptional client care in a busy and professional legal environment.

The role:

  • Supporting Fee Earners with the progression of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Preparing contracts, legal documentation, correspondence and financial statements
  • Managing client enquiries and providing regular updates throughout transactions
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and other third parties
  • Independently managing complex sale matters and assisting with straightforward purchase files
  • Preparing SDLT returns, mortgage reports and completion documentation
  • Conducting exchanges, completions and post-completion work
  • Reviewing title documentation, search results and lender requirements
  • Completing compliance checks and supporting source of funds reviews
  • Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring compliance with Conveyancing Quality Standards (CQS)

The successful candidate:

  • At least 12 months’ experience within a residential conveyancing role
  • Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
  • Experience managing more complex conveyancing matters with minimal supervision
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client care skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently as well as part of a team
  • Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach

Desirable:

  • Experience using legal case management systems
