Role: SEO Marketing Manager

Salary: £40K DOE + Bonus (Company performance and KPI based)

Location: Sheffield

Our client are a nationwide waste management company.

The role:

Main responsibilities:

In this senior and influential role, you will work closely with the Commercial Director and internal teams to develop the online marketing plan including developing strong and innovate digital marketing strategies, using SEO, PPC and other techniques to drive traffic.

  • Build and roll out a comprehensive marketing plan for the business and its core sites
  • Develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies
  • Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies and social media presences
  • Innovate and present new marketing platforms and strategies
  • Develop engaging online content including clickbait, forums, videos, graphics and blogs; monitor and analyse content success
  • Managing existing website content and ensure relevance and accuracy
  • Ongoing and active management of content across all digital platforms
  • Forecast marketing campaign growth and ROI for marketing campaigns
  • Manage email and social media marketing campaigns
  • Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords and other relevant sites
  • Drive traffic to company pages
  • Develop and manage projects, adhering closely to dealings and budget, developing and revising ideas and implementing projects
  • Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies and digital market trends
    • Implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information
  • Be happy to help expand the marketing team, line manage new staff e.g PPC Executive

The successful candidate:

The candidate will ideally be a digital marketing professional with experience of growing strong brands in competitive market segments through a variety of online channels.

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant topic
  • Ideally 5 years’ experience in Digital Marketing in a mid to senior level role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of leveraging SEO, PPC, Google AdWords, third party referrers, Facebook and Twitter to achieve commercial goals
  • Analysing the performance of channels including third-party referral sites and making recommendations to improve performance
  • Numerate with strong analytical skills to see what the numbers are saying
  • Forward- thinking and strategic in nature, capable of seeing the bigger picture, as well as stay focused in details
  • Be a team player, who can demonstrate leadership when needed, but knows when to take a step back and let others lead
  • Influential and persuasive to get messages across and defend a point of view
  • Resilient and comfortable with change, willing to flex plans to meet shifting commercial priorities
