Our client is looking to recruit a Service Supervisor to join their busy Warrington operation. Working closely with the Service Manager, this varied role combines office-based responsibilities with field support, ensuring engineers are effectively coordinated, customers receive an excellent service and operational performance targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and coordination of Service Engineers and Field Technicians.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the service team.
  • Plan and optimise engineers’ routes to maximise productivity and minimise travel time and costs.
  • Ensure all scheduled maintenance visits are completed each month.
  • Monitor and improve engineer productivity and performance.
  • Manage lift call-outs, investigate recurring faults, liaise with customers and coordinate effective solutions.
  • Ensure isolated lifts are returned to service as quickly as possible, minimising downtime.
  • Coordinate internal and external training while supporting the ongoing development of the engineering team.
  • Carry out maintenance audits and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Provide customers with technical support and coordinate repair and improvement works where required.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Previous experience as a Service Engineer or Repairs Engineer within the lift industry.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Alternatively, a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering will be considered.
  • Previous supervisory or team coordination experience would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
  • Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
