Role: Insolvency Manager

Salary: Dependant on Experience

Located: Sheffield 

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing dynamic organisation. Our client looking for a manager with at least 6 years’ experience in corporate insolvency. The role will predominately involve taking an active and leading role in a mixture of interesting Administrations and Liquidations.

The workload will be varied, covering all forms of corporate insolvency and restructuring. You will also be working alongside our other business divisions including funding and legal services.

The role: 

  • Involvement in client meetings from initial contact, with responsibility of driving cases to appointment date and beyond.
  • Dealing with cases from commencement/handover to closure, driving case progression from appointment including statutory reporting to a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience and understanding of corporate insolvency procedures, particularly Administrations and CVLs
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance
  • Responsibility for additional ad hoc tasks as required
  • Having a degree of autonomy in decision making
  • Manage and lead team members
  • Develop relationships with other professionals both internally within the group and externally

The successful candidate:

  • 6 plus years’ corporate insolvency experience
  • Good numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to identify and deal with high-risk issues
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a varied case portfolio
  • Excellent team player
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and be proactive
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • As the role requires analysis and preparation of financial data, an accountancy and/or insolvency qualification is desirable, but is not required.
