Role: Temporary Machine Refurbisher/Builder

Location: Dinnington

Salary: £12.91 Per Hour

Contract: 3 Months (Possible Extension)

Hours: Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 14:00, Friday 06:00 – 13:00

We are recruiting for a Machine Refurbisher/Builder to join a busy manufacturing environment specialising in industrial cleaning machines. This role involves both building new equipment and refurbishing existing machinery to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Building new industrial cleaning machines
• Refurbishing used machinery
• Cleaning machines and individual components
• Shot blasting machine parts
• Spray painting components within a paint booth
• Working to production targets and deadlines

The Successful Candidate

Essential Experience:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with time-sensitive tasks
• Background in manual assembly processes
• Competent using hand and power tools (e.g. drills, grinders, polishers)
• Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience:

• Welding experience (MIG / TIG / Stud)
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes
• Electrical fault finding skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Experience using an electrical meter

Desirable Qualifications:

• Electrical qualification
• PAT testing certification
• FLT licence
• Welding qualification
