Recruiter Highlight of the Month!

Recruiter Highlight of the Month!

We’re starting something new at Glu.

At the end of each month, we’re taking five minutes to pause and reflect. Yes, we do sometimes get five minutes free working in recruitment.

Think Harry Hill’s TV Highlight of the Week!

What are we calling it? You’ve got it!

Introducing Recruiter Highlight of the Month!

Here are each of our team’s highlights:

Rob Shaw & Joe Hall

This one is a soon-to-be highlight of the month! Rob and Joe are off to the Brit Awards – which begs the question: are they there for the awards, or Harry Styles?

Karen
Quality time with her lovely family. Because balance matters too!

Jack Crookes
Possibly the most wholesome placement of the year. Jack’s dad was unexpectedly made redundant – and Jack stepped in, found him a new role, and got the deal done.

Even better, the client said:
“Hope you are well. Just wanted to say thanks very much for putting your Dad forward for the role here, I’m looking forward to getting him on board!”

Tony Warner
A big month.

Brought on his first-ever role for Glu – huge milestone.

And casually hit 12,000,000 views on his personal Facebook written posts since Christmas. Yes, twelve million. We’re in the presence of influencer royalty.

Taryn
My highlight would have to be making my first placement at Glu! She described her new role as challenging but worth it –  never a dull moment! We’re not sure if she means in the role or in the team.

Demi
Six placements in the month of February. Six. That’s not a good month. That’s a standout month.

Jess
A trip to Prague with her lovely friend Lucy. Work hard, travel harder.

Reggie
Stealing snacks at work and avoiding eating his breakfast and dinner. We’re not sure this counts as a performance metric, but it’s certainly consistent.

This is exactly why we’re doing this.

Yes, we care about performance. Yes, we celebrate placements and new business. But we also care about the stories behind the month – the personal wins, the milestones, and the team moments.

We’ll be back next month with more highlights.

Same energy. Same graft. Maybe fewer stolen snacks.
