February marked something new for the team at Glu as we held our monthly team meeting at The Box, Sheffield.
This was the perfect opportunity to step away from our desks, reflect on the previous month and set some big goals for March.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming the brilliant Laura Stead, who joined us a guest speaker to deliver a super insightful session on personal branding.
Of course, we couldn’t leave without giving the karaoke rooms a whirl – and let’s just say, we gave it our best shot.
So, after enjoying our day so much, we thought we’d dig into the reasons why it’s so important to get out of the office.
- Bringing the team closer
There’s nothing like a change of scenery (and a bit of karaoke!) to help the team bond. These moments outside the office make a real difference in how we work together day-to-day.
- Fresh thinking & big Ideas
New surroundings = fresh perspectives. Taking time away from our screens gives us the space to think creatively and come back buzzing with new ideas.
- Celebrating wins the right way
We work hard – so celebrating the wins is a must! Taking time to recognise what we’ve achieved keeps us all feeling motivated and appreciated.
- Learning something new
Bringing in guest speakers like Laura keeps us growing, evolving, and staying ahead of the game. The more we learn, the better we can be at what we do!
- Keeping the energy high
Nothing boosts morale like a bit of fun! Whether it’s belting out tunes or just catching up in a different environment, these moments remind us why we love what we do.
Massive thanks to The Box Sheffield for being amazing hosts – we’ll definitely be back!
