Leading with heart
This year has brought challenges for everyone. The UK economy, the cost-of-living crisis, and high-profile closures have impacted everyone.
We’re proud to share that 28% of our placed candidates this year were individuals made redundant. Through CV workshops, registration days, and one-to-one support, we’ve done everything we can to help people regain their footing in tough times.

Championing diversity & inclusion
Diversity isn’t just a buzzword for us – it’s something we actively work on. From helping 103 overseas candidates relocate and secure permanent roles in the UK to partnering with organisations like Out Britain UK, we’re committed to breaking down barriers.

Bridging education and employment
We’re all about building bridges at Glu – not just between candidates and businesses but between education and employment.
Partnering with RNN Group and The Workwise Foundation, we’ve helped 66 young people aged 18-24 land their very first roles.
Volunteering at events like the Workwise STEM event at Magna is just one way our team gets stuck in, ensuring the next generation has the tools they need to succeed!
Supporting local charities
We know the vital role that charities play in our community, so we developed a lower-cost recruitment package to ease any financial strain.
We’ve also supported initiatives like the Sheffield Carers silent auction, offering our expertise to help them raise money for the fantastic work that they do.
Rooted in South Yorkshire
Sheffield is more than where we work. Over the past year, we’ve placed 175 candidates in roles across South Yorkshire, with 96 right here in Sheffield.
Recognising local business needs, we even launched a specialist accountancy and finance division, helping companies find top talent in this high-demand sector.
