Role: Business Development Manger

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE + uncapped commission

Location: Rotherham

Hours: Monday to Friday

Our client is looking for someone to join their sales team. In the sales team you’ll be involved in both defining and delivering targets and strategies. Your day will be mostly building relationships with new clients to assist with new opportunities & helping them to define their ongoing IT Strategy. As well as this you will also be expected to seek out new opportunities with new clients, looking for new opportunities to help educate them on how our client can help them use technology to accelerate their business growth or objectives.

Duties to include:

  • Passionate about helping people and building relationships with our customers.
  • Handling any inbound/outbound queries, either via email/telephone/face to face
  • Prospect, create and develop new sales opportunities & close to win with a compelling conversion rate.
  • Feedback and report KPI’s to departmental managers
  • Delivering a pro-active approach
  • Setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business relationships.
  • Carry out necessary planning in order to implement to meet business objectives.
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses’ products or services and be able to advise others about them.
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.

The Successful Candidate

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an Account Management / Sales role
  • Passionate about helping people and building relationships with our customers.
  • Ability to self-mange own workload
  • Focused on delivering results and keeping one step ahead.
  • Be a problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
