Role: Construction Sales Co-ordinator     

Salary: £23,000-£26,000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Sheffield

Working pattern: Full time, office based. Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

The role:

• Build & maintain relationships with customers to make sales and increase profitability.
• Encourage repeat purchases and brand loyalty by adding value to transactions, providing the right solutions alongside excellent customer service.
• Responding to questions and queries both internally and from customers (telephone, email, video calling, face to face)
• Preparing quotations – Liaising with external teams, technical teams and commercial management where required.
• Proactive quotation follow up calls.
• Negotiating with customers to secure orders.
• Liaising with other departments pre and post sale (including finance, operations technical and design)

The successful candidate:

Experience of processing orders and/or producing quotes in the building/construction industry would be advantageous, but not essential.

Candidates should have:

• GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grades A-C
• An enthusiastic can do attitude able to work on own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Methodical, organised with ability to prioritise.
• Computer literate (Particularly Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM)
• Accurate with good attention to detail.
• Able to manage and respond to multiple issues at once whilst meeting deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desirable skills and attributes:

• Experience of working in a construction or manufacturing business.
• Proven track record of account management and converting quotes to orders.
• Able to read and understand drawings.
