The Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards annually recognise outstanding businesses and individuals.
This year, the spotlight is on Glu Recruit’s Managing Director, Rob Shaw, who has been shortlisted for the Business Person of the Year award.
Rob Shaw’s journey to becoming a Business Person of the Year finalist began with the establishment of Glu Recruit.
Founded in 2016, Glu Recruit quickly became a prominent player in the region’s recruitment and staffing industry.
Rob’s vision was to create a company that not only met the immediate staffing needs of local businesses but also added significant value by fostering lasting relationships between employers and employees.
His dedication to not only clients and candidates but to his team is unmatched and has earned him a well-deserved place among the region’s most esteemed business leaders.

The Barnsley and Rotherham Business Awards are to be held on Friday 3rd of November, where results will be announced.
